Here at my journal.

A short screencap summary. Discuss whatever you want to about this week's ep.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY [info]hoshi3 and [info]on_the_ground!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ :D

My car is dead so I’m stranded at home. It’s only the battery so that’s fine, but I need to go out and I caaaan’t.;;; My sister will take me later and my step dad will get me a new battery this weekend. Thank goodness for them. It’s a good thing I pay all of my bills online or they’d be late though. I shall use my stranded time to draw even more!

I need to learn to CG differently, and find a place to get SAI since it blends so nice. Every time I look at a coloring tutorial they color SO differently than me that it’s uncomfortable for me to attempt. I don’t think I suck, but I color the same in every single picture so it’s just rather limiting. All I know how to do is standard cell shade so I want to branch out~ \o/

+Have some more youtube vids.
A dog that’s watching over goslings. The dog is so concerned with them, it’s endearing. I love seeing inter-species bonds. ♥
Some male college students doing Pokerface a capella I had to laugh.;;;;;;
Another amazing mmv for PH Makes me want to draaaw. I love darker videos.
A very pretty Tsubasa amv using footage from the OVAs~~
A silly/fun OzGil and BreakSharon amv Haha that was a cute watch.

Title :Bumpy Rumpy Tumpty

Summary : Sai did not stop at reading Icha-Icha. He annotated it. He did research on it. He drew theories out of it. When he started using said theories to psychoanalyze people, Yamanaka Ino knew she had to step in, in order to avoid a bloodbath. Genfic.

Rating : M, for Naruto's mouth (and Kiba's), as well as random Icha-Icha quoting.

Can be read here.

Thank you for your time, feedback is welcome ^^

〜まい (mai-2)

    Meaning: probably won't
Example: you probably won't die from this illness

[ View this entry online ]

  Notes:
Vnonpastまい
1. 行くまい (〜will not go; probably will not go)
2. 教えるまい (〜will not teach; probably will not teach)

Adj(i)stemくはあるまい
1. 高くはあるまい (〜is probably not expensive)

Adj(na)stem/Nounであるまい
1. 静かではあるまい (〜is probably not quiet)
2. 先生ではあるまい (〜is probably not a teacher)
This is an auxiliary which expresses the negative volition or conjecture of the speaker. It is basically a written form, used in formal writing.

For Gr. 2 verbs, Vmasu is occasionally used instead of Vinf・nonpast. For irregular verbs, すまい and こまい are sometimes used instead of するまいand くるまい, respectively. See examples #6088, #6089, and #6090.

まい does not have a past form. The past tense is expressed by other verbs. See examples #6091 and #6092.

The volition of someone other than the speaker can be expressed by まい, as in example #6093. Note that と思う is used to express the volition of someone other than the speaker. Thus, example #6094 expresses the conjecture of the speaker rather than the volition of Keiko.

Vinf・nonpastまいとする expresses the idea of "try not to V." See example #6095. When this structure is used in a subordinate clause, する is often omitted, as in example #6096.

VvolitionalかVinf・nonpastまいか expresses the idea "whether (I) will V or not," as in example #6098.

  • This usage is now generally replaced by ないだろう (contributor: Amatuka)
  • Commonly used with あるまい (contributor: Amatuka)
  • Hmm, my example might be 'mai-3' : expression of a negative that is natural or appropriate. (contributor: Amatuka)
  • As for the first example, we don't say 死ぬまい for the third person. We'd say 病気で死ぬことはあるまいと思うが、…。
When you talk about yourself, you'd say この病気で死ぬまい、絶対生きてやる。 (contributor: Miki)
  • in #4703 what does まぬがれまい mean? (contributor: dc)
  • まぬかれる is a dictonary form. It is also pronounced as まぬがれる. 免れる means 逃れる.
まぬがれ + まい (neg) >>> You will not be able to escape from being punished this time.
    (contributor: Miki)
  • Is this similar to あるわけない? (contributor: nazonatte69)

Do you think expression of sex or violence on television, newspapers, magazines, internet, computer games, other media is a problem? graph of japanese statisticsThe new government in Japan seems to have been conducting an awful lot of surveys recently, with the latest one from the Cabinet Office Japan being on a gender-equal society. This survey was last conducted five years ago and translated three years ago.

Demographics

5,000 adults over the age of twenty were selected at random from all over the country, and an attempt was made to conduct face-to-face interviews with them over the period of the 1st to 18th of October 2009. 3,240 people, or 64,8%, were available and agreed to take part. 53.4% of the sample were female, 9.8% in their twenties, 14.6% in their thirties, 16.2% in their forties, 19.0% in their fifties, 22.2% in their sixties and 18.1% aged seventy or older. 48.5% were emploted, 9.9% self-employed, 3.7% in the family business, and 37.9% homemakers, studens, or retired. 74.6% were married, 0.7% were unmarried but living with their partner, 4.3% divorced, 5.7% widowed, and 14.8% unmarried. Finally, 77.6% had children.

Q10SQ is a bit of a strange set of answers to me, although perhaps it is just my intellectual thought processes that say exposure to those who don’t want to see it is not really the fault of the media on the whole. I would also put the objectification of women much higher up the ranking, but I don’t think there is the same degree of awareness in Japan as in the west.

Summary: Sasuke tries - and sort of fails - to be a Casanova. Sakura just wants to get some ramen. And Naruto? Well...

Once someone starts something, the person can’t stop it.

Notes: Easily confused with ‾kiri, but the meanings are completely different and ga saigo doesn’t mean ‘for the last time’. Always used with past tense verbs.

Now I'm sure they have been moments in the manga where something happens which you don't particularly like. Although occassionally when a character does something, their motives are expanded upon afterwards. But back to the main point, when something happens or a character does something you don't particularly like do you choose to criticise/bash the character or just criticise Kishimoto for writing the character as such?Poll #1498661 Where does one point the finger?

Edit: We're looking for a super duper strong Neji, STAT! plzplzplz we have Hanabi and Hinata so we'd love you foreverrrrrr. And this just in, we need a Sai, too, but a very sneaky crafty one. Think early Sai. :D

Hiya! I am looking for something pretty darn specific, but hopefully I can find just a couple of canon RPers to join my friends and I. )
